Das Gryne Band
Natur und Kunst in Speyer
Concept Development, Community Engagement, Communication & Identity (with
Barbara Hoffmann)
Das Gryne Band was a city-wide cultural and environmental initiative developed in collaboration with the City of Speyer. The project aimed to activate public space, encourage civic participation and foster a stronger connection between urban life, nature and culture.
More than 120 planters were distributed throughout the city centre and adopted by local residents, businesses and community groups. Alongside this visible green intervention, an extensive programme of cultural, educational and public events invited citizens to engage with questions of sustainability, urban ecology and collective responsibility.
As part of the concept and organisation team, I was responsible for communication strategy, media planning and the development of visual communication materials. The project involved close collaboration with municipal stakeholders, local businesses, cultural organisations and citizens.
Key topics:
Cultural participation, community engagement, placemaking, public space, sustainability, urban culture, communication strategy and civic collaboration.
