Ribisels Kantine at Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection
Interior, architectural photography
The Kantine, located on the ground floor of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) on Stresemannstraße, was recently redesigned by architect Linda Wortmann. Her interior concept is hand-tailored, with subtle color accents and a clear contemporary vision reflecting the historic site of the ministry as well as a worldly approach in design. Wortmann’s interior concept brings a rather joyous atmosphere to the space, snuggling up with the building’s institutional character.
The BMUV, housed in a historically significant government complex near Potsdamer Platz, plays a central role in shaping Germany’s environmental and consumer protection policy. The redesign of Ribisels Kantine reflects these values by offering a space that is both modern and mindful, supporting the daily routines of ministry staff and visitors alike.
