Series: Heimatstationen

The project 'Heimatstationen', term wise a paradox, was initialized in 2008.
It contains 60 portraits and 3 landscapes.

Besides its very personal approach the pictures are inspired by the work of August Sander
according to sociological and also some aesthetical aspects.

The people portrayed are organized in 4 groups according to the cities in which the portraits are captured.
Beginning to work in Berlin i ended up in a small and provincial town in the south of Germany.

The Project 'Heimatstationen' was exhibited at ZeitraumExit Gallery, Mannheim
and presented at Reiss Engelhorn Museum, Mannheim as well as in the cities where the
portraits were captured.
